Azusa Street Productions is owned by director Linnea Widén. She has written scripts for and directed a number of short films.

 

Her latest production, the documentary "I´m painting some imagination", will soon be screened at Swedish Television.

 

Her shortfilm, "Flashback" has been screened at a number of festivals both in Europe and USA. It is distributed in cinemas in Sweden by Folkets Bio. In this film, Linnea continues to explore the boundaries of to what degree humour can be combined with more serious social issues.

 

Linnea studied photography at Santa Monica College in Los Angeles.

Back in Sweden, she took preparatory studies in Film Direction at the Dramatic Institute and has since worked as Assistant Director to Thommy Berggren, Suzannne Osten, Christjan Wegner, Alexander Moberg and Lennart Hjulström in a range of feature films as well as TV and theatre productions.
